Motorista capota caminhonete após atropelar capivara na SP-304

Um motorista de 52 anos capotou a caminhonete que conduzia após atropelar uma capivara na Rodovia Luiz de Queiroz (SP-304), em Santa Bárbara d’Oeste (SP). O acidente aconteceu na madrugada desta quinta-feira (3) na altura da Usina Furlan.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, o motorista seguia no quilômetro 143 da rodovia sentido Americana (SP), quando o animal cruzou a pista. O condutor não conseguiu desviar da capivara, atropelou o animal e perdeu o controle da direção.

A caminhonete capotou na pista e parou com as rodas para cima. As duas pessoas que estavam dentro do veículo tiveram ferimentos leves e foram encaminhadas para o pronto-socorro Dr. Edison Mano.

A rodovia não precisou ficar interditada e o veículo já foi retirado do local.
