Motorista morre após capotar caminhão em Jaguariúna

Um motorista morreu nesta terça-feira (4) após capotar o caminhão que dirigia na Rodovia Governador Adhemar Pereira de Barros (SP-340), em Jaguariúna (SP).

De acordo com a Polícia Rodoviária, o acidente aconteceu no km 139, próximo ao pedágio. O motorista seguia sentido Mogi Mirim, quando perdeu o controle da direção e o caminhão tombou no canteiro central.

A carreta do veículo estava carregada com 25 toneladas de carvão que se espalharam pela pista após o acidente.

A vítima ficou presa nas ferragens e o helicóptero Águia da Polícia Militar (PM) foi até o local para fazer o resgate.

Equipes da concessionária Renovias, que administra o trecho, e do Corpo de Bombeiros, também atenderam a ocorrência. No entanto, o motorista não resistiu aos ferimentos e morreu no local.
