Um capotamento em Americana (SP) resultou na morte de um homem de 40 anos, identificado como Virlei Conte. O acidente aconteceu na madrugada deste domingo (11), na altura do km 126, da Rodovia Luiz de Queiroz (SP-304).

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, a vítima conduzia um Chevrolet Vectra quando bateu contra a defensa metálica, capotou, saiu da pista e atingiu outros dois veículos que estavam estacionados na Avenida Bandeirantes.

O Corpo de Bombeiros prestou o primeiro atendimento à vítima e a socorreu ao Hospital Municipal de Americana, mas o homem não resistiu aos ferimentos.
