Faxineiro morre atropelado na SP-304 em Piracicaba

Um faxineiro de 60 anos, identificado como José Pedro de Jesus, morreu após ser atropelado por dois veículos enquanto atravessava a Rodovia Geraldo de Barros (SP-304), em Piracicaba (SP), nesta segunda-feira (12). Uma das motoristas que o atingiu, foi conduzida em estado de choque para um hospital da cidade.

Segundo informações da Polícia Militar Rodoviária (PMRv), o pedestre foi atingido pela primeira vez por um veículo Citroën C4 em uma faixa da estrada sentido São Pedro (SP). A vítima caiu na pista e, na sequência, o homem foi atropelado por um outro carro, um Toyota Etios.

Ainda de acordo com a Polícia Rodoviária, o pedestre atravessava a pista a partir do canteiro central em direção ao acostamento. A região tem acessos aos bairros e não possui passagem subterrânea ou passarelas.

No local, não há câmeras de monitoramento da concessionária Eixo SP, responsável pelo trecho. A motorista do veículo Etios passou pelo teste do bafômetro e o resultado deu negativo para ingestão de bebidas alcoólicas.
