Motorista ultrapassa sinal vermelho e bate em taxista em Campinas

Um motorista de 85 anos ultrapassou o sinal vermelho e atingiu o carro de um taxista na manhã desta quarta-feira (17), no Nova Campinas, em Campinas (SP). O aposentado disse não ter visto o sinal fechado.

A Polícia Militar (PM) atendeu a ocorrência na Avenida José de Souza Campos, por volta das 11h.

Segundo apuração do Policial Padrão, o aposentado estava em um Volkswagen Gol e disse à polícia que não viu que o semáforo estava fechado. Ele avançou e bateu em um táxi Chevrolet Spin.

Os policiais verificam as condições dos veículos e se os condutores tinham ingerido algum tipo de droga ou bebida. No entanto, não haviam irregularidades.

O aposentado sofreu lesões leves e foi socorrido pelo Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) ao hospital Madre Teodora. Já o taxista recusou atendimento médico.
