Viatura da Guarda Municipal se envolve em acidente durante perseguição em Americana

Uma viatura da Guarda Municipal de Americana (SP) se envolveu em um acidente de trânsito durante uma perseguição na noite desta segunda-feira (21). O veículo atingiu o muro da Feira Industrial de Americana (Fidam), no Jardim Santana.

Conforme o registro do caso, uma equipe em patrulhamento pela Rua Emílio Leão Brambila, viu quatro suspeitos. Um deles estava mexendo em uma motocicleta, e os outros ocupavam mais duas motos.

Quando os guardas tentaram fazer a abordagem, os suspeitos deixaram o local. A equipe os seguiu com a viatura, mas em determinado momento, o condutor perdeu o controle da direção e bateu contra o muro da Fidam.

Com o impacto, o sistema de airbag acionou e os guardas não ficaram feridos. O motorista alegou que os freios falharam. A viatura é um Volkswagen Gol locado e sofreu danos de grande monta.

Os suspeitos conseguiram fugir, mas ainda durante a ocorrência, a Guarda localizou uma moto furtada. O veículo de 160 cilindradas estava na Avenida Nossa Senhora de Fátima e já foi devolvido à vítima.
