A Polícia Militar (PM) apreendeu um veículo e munições de calibre .38 durante uma operação de fiscalização, nesta sexta-feira (9), na Vila Santa Rita em Leme (SP). Um casal que estava no veículo conseguiu fugir.

A equipe realizava a operação na Rua Darcio Tambolini por volta das 18h30, quando avistou o veículo Volkswagen Gol trafegando pela via no sentido do bairro Jardim Empyreo.

Ao perceber a presença policial, o casal que ocupava o veículo decidiu abandonar o carro e fugiu em direção a uma área verde próxima. O condutor do veículo correu com a mão na cintura, dando a impressão de portar uma arma de fogo.

Apesar do cerco policial realizado com o auxílio de outras viaturas, os ocupantes do veículo não foram localizados. No veículo haviam três munições de calibre .38 intactas.

A ocorrência foi apresentada no Distrito Policial (DP) do município. A polícia conseguiu identificar o casal, mas o homem e a mulher seguem foragidos.
