Um ladrão de 50 anos foi preso após o carro dele quebrar durante a fuga, em Indaiatuba (SP), na quinta-feira (1º). O homem estava sendo perseguido por guardas municipais após cometer o crime em um shopping da cidade.

De acordo com a Guarda Municipal, o criminoso furtou peças de salmão e perfumes em um mercado do Polo Shopping.

Houve perseguição pela Rodovia Santos Dumont (SP-75), até que o veículo do criminoso parou após fundir o motor a cerca de 500 metros do pedágio na pista sentido Campinas (SP).

A equipe recuperou os produtos furtados e constatou que o bandido já tinha passagem pelo mesmo crime. O veículo usado por ele também acumulava pelo menos 20 multas de trânsito.

Um boletim de ocorrência foi registrado no plantão da delegacia de Indaiatuba.
