Guarda detém suspeito de tentar furtar fios de cobre de radar em Campinas

Um homem foi detido em Campinas (SP), na noite de quarta-feira (24), suspeito de tentar furtar fios de cobre de um radar de trânsito instalado no Túnel Joá Penteado. Segundo comunicado divulgado pela Guarda Municipal (GCM) nesta quinta (25), o homem foi flagrado com uma faca no momento em que cortava os cabos.

A corporação informou que ele foi interceptado no local e não conseguiu levar os materiais. Depois disso, foi levado ao 1º Distrito Policial (DP), onde o caso será investigado pela Polícia Civil (PC).

O suspeito foi liberado após prestar depoimento e deve responder ao processo em liberdade.
