A Polícia Militar (PM) de Santa Bárbara d’Oeste (SP) prendeu um mecânico de 39 anos por furtar um carro, na madrugada deste domingo (28). Ele tem passagens criminais por roubo, furto e receptação.

A prisão aconteceu por volta da 1h, na Rua da Prata, no bairro  Vila Mollon IV. De acordo com apuração do Policial Padrão, o furto do Fiat Uno ocorreu duas horas antes na cidade vizinha, em Americana (SP).

O suspeito tentou fugir da polícia em alta velocidade e só se rendeu, depois que bateu o Fiat Uno colidir contra o muro de uma residência.

Após confessar o crime, a PM o levou ao Distrito Policial, onde ele permaneceu à disposição da Justiça.
