Polícia prende homem suspeito de matar a esposa espancada em Limeira

A Polícia Civil com apoio da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Limeira (SP), prendeu nesta quarta-feira (15), um homem 32 anos, suspeito de matar a esposa espancada. A vítima de 31 anos, morreu no dia 5 de novembro após dar entrada na Santa Casa com fraturas no crânio.

Na data do crime, médicos que atenderam a vítima acionaram a equipe Patrulha Maria da Penha por conta da situação suspeita.

O esposo da vítima foi conduzido à Central de Flagrantes pela GCM para prestar esclarecimentos. Ele alegou que a esposa tomava medicamentos fortes e caiu da cama durante a madrugada resultando nos ferimentos. Após o depoimento, o homem foi liberado.

Contudo, as investigações conduzidas pela Delegada da Defesa da Mulher, Dra. Evelyn, revelaram indícios de que a mulher teria sido vítima de espancamento.

Por conta disso, a Justiça emitiu um mandado de prisão preventiva contra o homem. O suspeito foi detido em casa e encaminhado à carceragem, onde permaneceu à disposição da Justiça.

A polícia agora busca esclarecer os detalhes desse trágico episódio de suspeita de feminicídio.
