Homem é preso após atear fogo em casa e matar o próprio pai em Conchal

Um homem de 50 anos foi preso após fogo na casa em que morava e ter causado a morte do próprio pai, na noite da quinta-feira (7), em Conchal (SP). A vítima, identificado como Lourival Cerqueira de Araújo, tinha 73 anos e dificuldades de locomoção.

De acordo com informações da Guarda Civil Municipal, o crime aconteceu na Rua Alencar da Silva Lopes, no bairro Visconde de Indaiatuba.

Uma equipe atendeu a ocorrência sobre o incêndio grandes proporções por volta das 19h.   No local, com a ajuda da Defesa Civil, os guardas controlaram as chamas.

O filho da vítima foi preso no local e encaminhado para o Plantão Policial de Araras. Ele teria confessado à autoridade que cometeu o crime após uma briga por um maço de cigarros.

O corpo de Lourival Cerqueira de Araújo foi encaminhado para o Instituto Médico Legal (IML) de Limeira.

O caso foi registrado como homicídio e será investigado pela Polícia Civil.
