A Polícia Militar (PM) prendeu quatro homens em fragrante por maus-tratos a animais na noite desta quinta-feira (15), em Paulínia (SP).

Os suspeitos foram abordados na Rodovia Professor Zeferino Vaz (SP-332). Quatro galos-índios foram encontrados no porta-malas do veículo. Um dos homens confessou que os animais eram utilizados em rinhas.

A corporação apreendeu os animais e outros apetrechos utilizados nas rinhas, além de R$ 2,2 mil em espécie.

Os homens foram encaminhados ao Distrito Policial (DP) de Paulínia e depois de serem ouvidos foram liberados para responder ao processo em liberdade.
