Guarda Municipal recupera milhares de caixas plásticas furtadas no Tupi

A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Santa Bárbara d’Oeste (SP) recuperou milhares de caixas plásticas furtadas, nesta segunda-feira (1°). O material estava em um galpão às margens da Rodovia Margarida da Graça Martins (SP-135), no Distrito do Tupi, já na divisa com Piracicaba (SP).

A equipe chegou ao local após dica de uma das vítimas de furto. Ela descobriu o endereço do galpão que armazenava milhares de caixas furtadas.

Na área indicada, os agentes abordaram um idoso de 60 anos que era o responsável por triturar o material. Ele alegou que não sabia sobre a procedência ilícita dos objetos.

No galpão, havia cerca de 50 mil caixas plásticas, além de duas máquinas de trituração e bags com materiais já triturados. Toda a apreensão está avaliada em aproximadamente R$ 5 milhões.

A ocorrência foi apresentada no Plantão Policial de Piracicaba (SP), onde o idoso foi autuado por receptação.

Uma perícia seria realizada no local nesta terça-feira (2) para dar sequência às investigações.
