Ônibus da linha 229 pega fogo em Campinas

Um ônibus, da linha 229, pegou fogo no final da tarde de terça-feira (03), no Jardim Florence II, em Campinas (SP).
Segundo uma passageira que estava no veículo no momento, fumaça começou a sair do ônibus e em poucos minutos as chamas já tinham atingido todo o ônibus.
O motorista pediu para os cinco passageiros que estavam no veículo descerem a tempo. O Corpo de Bombeiros foi acionado e controlou o fogo. A Polícia Militar foi acionada para registrar a ocorrência.
Segundo o posicionamento do Sindicato das Empresas de Transporte de Passageiros da Região Metropolitana de Campinas (SetCamp), o ônibus foi consumido por chamas quando trafegava pela Avenida Nelson Ferreira de Souza, por volta das 18 horas.
A concessionária abriu sindicância interna para apurar as causas. O prejuízo com a perda do veículo é de cerca de 250 mil reais.
