Americana recebe cinco novos respiradores no tratamento de covid-19 para o HM

O ministro da Saúde, Arthur Chioro, participa da inauguração de uma Unidade de Pronto Atendimento 24 horas, em Sobradinho II, no DF (Wilson Dias/Agência Brasil)

O ministério da Saúde entregou no sábado (03) cinco respiradores para o hospital Waldemar Tebaldi em Americana.

Os aparelhos já iniciaram atendimentos imediatos, devido ao comprometimento dos respiradores que já faziam parte do hospital, somando hoje um total de 26 equipamento para o tratamento de pacientes com covid-19 na cidade.

O superintendente da Fusame (Fundação de Saúde de Americana), José Carlos Marzochi, recebeu com alegria os novos ventiladores pulmonares. “Foi uma surpresa e tanto porque são cinco equipamentos adicionais aos 12 que chegarão, adquiridos com repasse de recursos da Câmara. São mais vidas que poderemos preservar e salvar”, declarou.

Com os novos equipamentos, o Hospital Municipal agora dispõe de 26 leitos com respiradores e 30 sem respiradores, além das estruturas provisórias em caso de necessidade.
