Morre cágado resgatado pela Guarda Municipal de Piracicaba

O cágado resgatado pela Guarda Municipal de Piracicaba (SP) após ser atropelado, morreu morreu nesta segunda-feira (6). O acidente aconteceu no último sábado (4), próximo ao Terminal Piracicamirim, Ele havia sido socorrido ao Centro de Controle de Zoonoses (CCZ).

Após ser atropelado, o cágado tinha passado por procedimento de reconstituição do casco, realizado com resina. No início da tarde desta segunda, teve uma piora significativa no quadro clínico e morreu. Ele apresentava diversas fraturas e pneumonia.

A viatura estava em patrulhamento no período da manhã, quando foi acionada por um homem, que pediu à equipe que resgatasse um cágado atropelado nas proximidades do Terminal Piracicamirim. A equipe socorreu o animal até o Centro de Controle de Zoonoses/Núcleo de Bem-Estar Animal.
