Com um mandado de prisão expedido contra o homem, os guardas foram até uma casa próximo ao quilômetro 154 da Rodovia do Açúcar (SP-308), onde o detiveram. Ele era procurado pelos crimes de ameaça e lesão corporal.
Ele foi detido e conduzido ao Plantão Policial de Piracicaba, onde permaneceu à disposição da Justiça.
