Filhote de onça é atropelado em rodovia de Jaguariúna

Na manhã desta quinta-feira (7), uma onça parda foi atropelada na Rodovia Doutor Adhemar Pereira de Barros, altura de Jaguariúna. O animal sofreu ferimentos graves.

Segundo a Polícia Rodoviária, o motorista que atropelou não parou. O corpo de bombeiros foi acionado, o Instituto Chico Mendes e o Ibama.

O filhote de onça foi removido para o Hospital Escola Veterinário da Unieduk. Segundo veterinários, o animal teve uma fratura na região da bacia, mas não foi necessário passar por cirurgia.

Após os cuidados veterinários, a onça foi levada para a sede da Associação Mata Ciliar que fica em Jundiaí (SP).
