Morador de Santa Bárbara é multado por manter aves silvestres em cativeiro

Nesta sexta-feira (11) um morador de Santa Bárbara d’ Oeste (SP) foi multado no valor de R$ 4.500 por manter animal nativo em cativeiro e autor de infração ambiental no valor de R$ 27 mil por maus tratos, mediante laudo. O homem foi autuado pela Polícia Militar Ambiental.

De acordo com a corporação, os policiais fiscalizaram uma residência no Centro da cidade justamente com Sistema de Controle e Monitoramento da Atividade de Criação Amadora de Pássaros e Pássaros em Cativeiro (SISPASS).

Durante a ação foram apreendidos 9 pássaros nativos em cativeiro, sendo dois canários da terra, quatro coleirinhas, dois trinca ferro e um sabiá parda, todos sem autorização do órgão ambiental competente.

Os animais serão encaminhados para o Centro de Recuperação de Animais Silvestres (CRASPET), em São Paulo.
