De acordo com a Polícia Militar Rodoviária (PMR), o caminhão teve uma pane seguida de incêndio. Foi necessário a interdição da via marginal até que equipes do Corpos de Bombeiros extinguissem as chamas, mas às 19h o fogo já havia sido controlado. Não teve vítima.
