Uma recém-nascida foi salva por policiais militares na manhã da última sexta-feira (16), após se engasgar e sofrer uma parada cardíaca no bairro Residencial Imigrantes, em Nova Odessa. A criança passa bem.

Segundo informações da corporação, durante uma abordagem a um veículo o Centro de operações da PM (COPOM) informou sobre uma ocorrência com recém-nascido em parada respiratória decorrente de um engasgamento, pela rua João Cortez Sobrinho.

Pelo local a equipe se deparou com a recém-nascida em parada respiratória momento em que o Cabo Saltarello iniciou a manobra heimlich para liberação das vias aéreas, conseguindo restabelecer os sinais vitais.

Prestado apoio à mãe e a recém-nascida até o hospital de Nova Odessa, onde após ser examinada a criança foi liberada.
