Homem é preso após agredir esposa com socos em Piracicaba

Um homem foi preso após agredir a esposa com socos na cabeça, no começo da tarde desta quarta-feira (22), no bairro Nova América, em Piracicaba (SP). A vítima foi agredida em frente dos filhos.

A Polícia Militar (PM) foi acionada a uma casa da Rua Miss Martha Watts para atender um caso de violência doméstica. No local, a vítima informou que seu companheiro chegou agressivo e lhe deu uma rasteira fazendo-a cair no chão e torcer o tornozelo. Na sequência, ele passou a dar socos em sua cabeça e braços. A agressão, segundo ela, ocorreu na frente dos filhos, todos menores de idade.

A vítima foi socorrida pela Unidade de Resgate até a Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) da Vila Cristina, onde foi atendida e permaneceu em cuidados médicos.

Já o homem foi preso e levado à Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher (DDM), onde ficou preso por crime de violência doméstica.

A vítima também informou que deseja receber visita da patrulha Maria da Penha.
