Segundo a Polícia Militar (PM), os agentes estavam em patrulhamento pela vicinal e encontraram o veículo já queimado, somente com as ferragens. Os policiais consultaram a placa e verificaram que se tratava de um carro furtado.
A perícia foi chamada no local e a vítima também foi avisada. O carro foi retirado do local por um guincho e um Boletim de Ocorrência foi registrado.
