PF prende cidadão alemão procurado pela justiça

Nesta quinta-feira  (22) a Polícia Federal realizou a prisão de cidadão alemão procurado pela Justiça daquele país. O preso era procurado pelas autoridades alemãs por ter desviado mais de nove milhões de euros de bancos entre 2001 e 2002 na Alemanha e estava inserido no sistema de alertas da Interpol.

A prisão se deu em cumprimento a mandado de prisão preventiva expedido pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal, a partir de pedido de extradição formulado pelo Governo da Alemanha.

O preso permanecerá à disposição da Justiça, aguardando os trâmites do processo de extradição, o qual será efetuado pela Polícia Federal Brasileira.
