Vizinho mata gato a pauladas no São Jerônimo

Um idoso foi preso por maus-tratos na manhã desta segunda-feira (27) após matar o gato de sua vizinha a pauladas, no São Jerônimo, em Americana. O autor confessou o crime e disse que o animal tentou comer um de seus pássaros.

De acordo com a corporação, a equipe do Grupo de Proteção Ambiental (GPA) atendeu a ocorrência na Rua Júlio Justi.

O corpo do animal estava jogado na guia e um veterinário do Centro de Zoonoses confirmou a morte por traumatismo craniano.

Na casa do autor de 64 anos, os guardas encontraram os pássaros. Entre eles, havia um coleirinho sem anilha e autorização que foi apreendido. Posteriormente, a equipe soltou o pássaro em uma área verde.

O idoso ficou preso à disposição da Justiça.
