O acidente foi no sentido Centro da via, na altura do bairro Nova Esperança. Após a batida, o poste tombou sobre o veículo. A Empresa Municipal de Desenvolvimento (Emdec) foi até o local e monitorou o trânsito da Avenida que foi parcialmente interditada.
