Guarda Municipal de Águas de São Pedro passa por curso de armamentos

A Guarda Municipal de Águas de São Pedro (SP) passou por um curso de armamento, nesta terça-feira (28), no Centro de Convenções da cidade. O manuseio com armas é mais uma capacitação oferecida pela própria corporação aos guardas civis.

No começo do ano, a GCM também já havia passado por um curso de instrução de armamento e tiro no município vizinho de Piracicaba (SP). As ações mostram o empenho da atual administração em oferecer melhores condições de trabalho aos guardas civis e mais conhecimento na área da segurança pública.

“A Guarda Municipal tem uma importância extrema na segurança pública e manutenção dos prédios públicos da cidade. São nossa linha de frente. Temos investido cada vez mais para que eles estejam preparados e atualizados”, disse o prefeito João Victor Barboza (Cidadania).
