Ladrão de carro é preso após perseguição em Campinas

A Polícia Militar (PM) prendeu um ladrão de carro após perseguição por diversos bairros em Campinas (SP) nesta quarta-feira (29). O bandido insistiu na fuga mesmo após bater em um poste.

De acordo com a PM, o ladrão roubou um Volkswagen T-Cross na Rua Silvio Rizzardo, que fica Jardim Campos Elíseos.

A equipe recebeu os dados do veículo e conseguiu encontrar o carro transitando paralelo a Avenida John Boyd Dunlop.

Os policiais deram ordem de parada, mas o condutor ignorou e fugiu em alta velocidade. Ele passou por cerca de quatro bairros colocando outras pessoas em risco, até que bateu contra um poste.

Mesmo após o acidente, o ladrão continuou a fuga a pé e acessou uma área de mata.

Com apoio de outras equipes, a PM cercou o local e fez a prisão. A vítima reconheceu o detido como autor do crime e ele ficou preso.
