Guarda resgata filhotes de cães abandonados em área rural

A Guarda Municipal de Nova Odessa (SP), resgatou quatro filhotes de cães em uma área rural do município, neste domingo (29). Populares disseram que um veículo suspeito tinha deixado o local há pouco tempo.

De acordo com informações da corporação, a equipe abordou o carro citado, mas os ocupantes negaram os maus-tratos.

Logo depois, com ajuda da Associação dos Amigos do Animais de Nova Odessa (AAANO), os agentes resgataram os filhotes. Eles ficarão em lares temporários até a adoção.

Por fim, a Guarda enfatiza que abandonar animais em locais públicos é crime. A punição para tal ato é prisão, multa e perda da guarda animal de acordo com a lei vigente.
