Durante perseguição veículo furtado colide contra Celta e atropela pedestre em Americana

Na manhã desta terça-feira (30) um veículo furtado causou um atropelamento durante uma perseguição policial, em Americana (SP). O caso aconteceu na Vila Belvedere.

De acordo com a Polícia Militar (PM), policiais estavam patrulhando pelo bairro quando avistaram um Volkswagen Saveiro produto de furto trafegando na Rua Santa Izabel.

A equipe deu ordem de parada, mas o condutor não obedeceu e fugiu em alta velocidade.

Os militares iniciaram acompanhamento e no viaduto Ernesto Pavan o veículo colidiu na lateral de um Chevrolet Celta e depois atropelou um homem na Rua Chico Santeiro, no bairro Antônio Zanaga.

Após o atropelamento, os policiais perderam a Saveiro de vista, porém durante patrulhamento pelas proximidades encontraram o veículo abandonado na Rua Dante Rossi.

No interior do carro foi apreendido um módulo para realizar furtos de veículos.

O veículo foi devolvido para um representante da empresa Artec. O caso foi registrado na Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ).
