De acordo com a Polícia Militar (PM), o cadáver estava de shorts de cor preta com listras coloridas e não foi possível identificar o sexo. A Polícia Técnica realizou a perícia no local.
A funerária encaminhou o pedaço do corpo para o Instituto Médico Legal (IML). O caso foi registrado na Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ).
