Quatro pessoas foram presas durante uma operação contra falsificação de bebidas alcoólicas, nesta quarta-feira (1º), no bairro Chácaras Luzitana, em Hortolândia (SP).

Após denúncia, policiais civis da Delegacia de Investigações Gerais (DIG) de Americana (SP) e representantes da Associação Brasileira de Bebidas (Abrabe) seguiram para um galpão localizado, na Rua Werner Habig.

Foram apreendidas cerca de 20 mil garrafas de whisky vazias, caixas de papelão, bebidas e rótulos falsos. Também havia equipamentos, produtos químicos, embalagens e outros objetos.

O proprietário do local onde era feita a falsificação das bebidas e outras três pessoas foram presas em flagrante.

Os homens foram encaminhados para a sede da DIG e a autoridade policial determinou o flagrante por crimes ambientais e associação criminosa.
