Guardas municipais de Engenheiro Coelho (SP) encontraram um corpo em decomposição em um brejo às margens da Rodovia Professor Zeferino Vaz (SP-332), nesta quinta-feira (13). A vítima ainda não foi identificada.

Conforme informações iniciais, funcionários de uma empresa encontraram o corpo durante manutenção no local e chamaram os agentes.

A vítima estava em um ponto de difícil acesso da mata ciliar que fica na altura do km 163 da rodovia, sentido Norte.

Equipes do Corpo de Bombeiros e perícia foram ao local e realizaram os trabalhos necessários para a remoção do cadáver ao Instituto Médico Legal (IML).

A polícia investiga se o corpo pode ser de um morador que está desaparecido há cerca de 20 dias.
