Uma idosa de 62 anos ficou ferida após ser atropelada por uma moto, na tarde deste sábado (17), no Centro de Valinhos (SP).

A Polícia Militar (PM) foi acionada na Avenida dos Imigrantes, por volta das 17h. O condutor da moto Honda CG 160 contou à polícia que o semáforo estava verde para os veículos no momento do acidente. Segundo ele, a vítima teria atravessado a rua mexendo no celular.

Já a vítima, contou que o semáforo estava vermelho para os veículos quando tentou atravessar pela faixa de pedestres. Ela foi socorrida por uma ambulância municipal e encaminhada à uma Unidade de Pronto Antedimento (UPA). Ela sofreu um corte na perna direita, além de escoriações no braço esquerdo.

As circunstâncias do acidente são investigadas.
