Um técnico de 49 anos, identificado como Marcos André de Jesus Ildefonso, morreu esmagado por um elevador no shopping de Valinhos (SP), nesta terça-feira (18).

De acordo com o centro de compras, o acidente aconteceu por volta das 10h, quando a vítima fazia um reparo corretivo no equipamento. O homem teria sido atingido pelo contrapeso do elevador.

Em nota, o empreendimento ressaltou que chamou o suporte imediatamente e que “a equipe fez o possível até a chegada do atendimento especializado”.

O Shopping Valinhos ainda reafirmou seu compromisso e zelo com o bem-estar e segurança de todos e se solidarizou com familiares e amigos.

O caso foi registrado como morte suspeita/acidental no 1° Distrito Policial de Valinhos.
