Balão cai e pega fogo dentro do Aeroporto de Viracopos

Incidente não interferiu na operação de pousos e decolagens

Três balões sobrevoaram o Aeroporto Internacional de Viracopos em Campinas (SP), neste domingo (21), e um deles caiu no perímetro do aeroporto, próximo à pista de pousos e decolagens. A equipe da concessionária que administra o terminal, conteve o incêndio causado pelo objeto.

Segundo a assessoria de imprensa, a situação não interferiu na operação do aeroporto. Os bombeiros foram chamados e recolheram o balão. A queda foi registrada às 17h09.

Apesar do incidente não ter causado o fechamento do aeroporto, a soltura de balões é crime que coloca em risco as operações do terminal e poderia ter causado um acidente, informou Viracopos.
