A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) apreendeu cerca de 20 mil metros de linha chilena, no Jardim da Mata, em Americana (SP), nesta quarta-feira (26). Um funcionário público de 45 anos, foi multado em R$ 2,4 mil.

De acordo com a GCM, agentes seguiram até um imóvel na Rua Antônio de Campos Machado, após denúncia sobre comércio de linha-cortante.

Eles falaram com o morador e o homem admitiu a comercialização mesmo sabendo que era proibido. O morador entregou à equipe 71 carretéis com linha e disse que busca o material na capital paulista para revender.

Os agentes apreenderam as linhas e apresentaram o caso na Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ). O funcionário público foi multado em R$ 2.480,62 e liberado.

No Estado de São Paulo, a Lei 17.201/2019 proíbe o uso, posse, a fabricação e a comercialização de linhas cortantes. A linha chilena é um tipo de cerol extremamente cortante e perigoso, feito com pó de quartzo e óxido de alumínio.
