Incêndio de grandes proporções atinge fábrica de velas em Americana

Um incêndio de grandes proporções atingiu uma fábrica de velas, no Jardim Werner Plaas, em Americana (SP), na manhã desta quinta-feira (29). Ninguém ficou ferido.

De acordo com informações do Corpo de Bombeiros, o incêndio aconteceu por volta das 6h e teria começado em um tanque de aquecimento de parafina.

O fogo se alastrou rapidamente, mas a ação rápida da corporação garantiu o isolamento do local.

Equipes se dividiram em três frentes de combate para conter o incêndio e evitar que indústrias vizinhas fossem atingidas.

A ação contou com cerca de oito caminhões do Corpo de Bombeiros e apoio de equipes de Santa Bárbara d’Oeste (SP), Iracemápolis (SP) e Campinas (SP).
