Um homem foi multado em R$ 14 mil por manter aves silvestres em cativeiro, nesta quinta-feira (29), em Sumaré (SP). De acordo com a Polícia Militar Ambiental, a equipe chegou ao endereço após uma denúncia.

No local, havia 28 aves silvestres nativas mantidas em cativeiro sem autorização do órgão ambiental competente e sem anilhas.

Diante dos fatos, a polícia multou o morador por crime ambiental no valor de R$ 14 mil.

A equipe também apreendeu as aves e as encaminhou para a base da Polícia Militar Ambiental, na cidade de Americana (SP).

Posteriormente, elas serão enviadas para o Centro de Recuperação de Animais Silvestres localizado do Parque Ecológico do Tietê (CRAS-PET).
