Idoso morre após bater moto que conduzia contra caminhão na Anhanguera

Polícia investiga se a vítima estava fugindo de uma tentativa de roubo de veículo

Um idoso de 67 anos, identificado como Orlando Pedro, morreu após bater a moto que conduzia contra um caminhão na Rodovia Anhanguera (SP-330). O acidente aconteceu na tarde deste domingo (16), na altura do km 192 da rodovia, em Leme (SP).

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, o motorista contou à polícia que seguia sentido Santa Cruz da Conceição (SP) quando viu quatro motos a frente dele.

O homem disse que trocou de faixa para desviar dos veículos, mas a vítima acabou batendo transversalmente no caminhão e caiu no acostamento.

Ainda de acordo com o depoimento do motorista, os outros três motociclistas chegaram perto da vítima, mas quando o caminhão parou, eles fugiram.

Por conta disso, a polícia investiga se no momento do acidente, a vítima tentava escapar de um roubo de veículo, que tem ocorrido com frequência na região. O caso foi registrado como morte suspeita.
