A Polícia Rodoviária prendeu um homem procurado por matar um policial civil em São Carlos (SP), na madrugada desta quinta-feira (7). O suspeito estava em um carro abordado na Rodovia Anhanguera (SP-330), em Limeira (SP).

Policiais abordaram um Honda Civic ocupado por quatro pessoas na altura do quilômetro 150 da rodovia e uma delas apresentou uma CNH falsa.

Quando a polícia constatou a irregularidade, o homem tentou fugir e se negou a fornecer sua identificação correta.

O suspeito foi conduzido ao Plantão Policial Civil de Limeira (SP) por falsidade ideológica.

De acordo com a polícia, no local o suspeito confessou ser autor de um homicídio contra um policial civil ocorrido em fevereiro deste ano, em São Carlos (SP). Na ocasião, Gabriel Jorge Thomé, de 40 anos, foi assassinado com dois tiros no tórax.

O procurado também responde por porte ilegal de arma de fogo e tráfico de drogas. Ele ficou detido à disposição da Justiça.
