Suspeito de roubo é detido em Limeira após atolar caminhão em canavial

Um homem foi preso por roubo de veículo e carga na noite de terça-feira (24), em Limeira (SP), após atolar caminhão em um canavial durante a fuga.

De acordo com a Polícia Militar Rodoviária, o caminhão trator e dois semirreboques transportavam carga de combustível, e foram roubados na altura de Americana (SP).

A equipe localizou o veículo na Rodovia Luiz Ometto (SP-306) e fez o acompanhamento. No entanto, na altura do km 43, o motorista entrou em um canavial para tentar fugir, mas o caminhão atolou e ele acabou detido.

Dentro do veículo, os policiais encontraram aparelhos para bloqueios de sinal de GPS.

O homem foi preso por roubo e ficou à disposição da Justiça. Posteriormente, a vítima, motorista do caminhão, foi libertada em Campinas (SP).
