A Prefeitura de Cordeirópolis (SP) deu o pontapé inicial para o Carnaval 2024 e organizou uma força-tarefa para discutir estratégias de segurança que serão aplicadas nas cinco noites de folia. O encontro aconteceu na quinta-feira (25), na sede da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura.

A reunião contou com um Gabinete de Gestão Integrada Municipal e regional, além de órgãos municipais incluindo a Polícia Militar, o Corpo de Bombeiros, o Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu), Guarda Municipal, Polícia Civil e o Departamento de Comunicação.

Durante o encontro, a força-tarefa discutiu toda a parte operacional do evento como a questão da revista, segurança pública, a forma e quando serão efetuadas as interdições de trânsito.

O evento ocorrerá entre os dias 9 e 12 de fevereiro, na Passarela do Samba, localizada na Avenida Presidente Vargas e no dia 13, na Praça Central.
