O código 151 já é adotado nacionalmente pelos órgãos de defesa do consumidor, e a medida reforça o cumprimento da Lei Estadual nº 2.831/1981 e da Lei municipal nº 4.872/2009, que estabelecem a obrigatoriedade de afixação, em lugar visível, do número de telefone do Procon em todos os estabelecimentos comerciais e de prestação de serviços.

O Procon reforça que o atendimento pelo 151 é voltado somente para esclarecimento de dúvidas e orientações.

Para reclamações e denúncias, o consumidor deve comparecer presencialmente ou através do protocolo digital, no link PROCON – Portal do Consumidor.

Orientação para comerciantes

O órgão alerta também para que os estabelecimentos comerciais providenciem a placa com o novo número 151, medindo, no mínimo, 23 cm x 32 cm.

O aviso deve ser afixado em local visível, sob pena de multa.

A unidade do Procon em Americana fica na Prefeitura Municipal, à Avenida Brasil, nº 85, no Centro. O órgão atende de segunda a sexta-feira, das 9 às 16 horas.
