O caso aconteceu neste sábado (20), em Itirapina (SP) durante a 5ª fase da “Operação Fronteira”. Dois motoristas de 24 e 26 anos, foram presos.

De acordo com a polícia, a equipe recebeu informações sobre um caminhão carregado com drogas que estaria a caminho da Região Metropolitana de Campinas (RMC).

Após o monitoramento de algumas estradas do interior do Estado, os agentes interceptaram o veículo modelo Iveco Baú, no km 204 da Washington Luís.

A equipe abordou os dois motoristas que estavam no veículo. Na sequência, os investigadores encontraram mais de mil tijolos de maconha no baú, que pesaram 1.241,6 kg. Ainda segundo a polícia, esse foi um recorde de peso em uma única apreensão realizada pela Dise de Americana.

Os motoristas admitiram que saíram de Três Lagoas (MS) e receberiam R$ 10 mil cada um para o transporte da droga.

A policia encaminhou a dupla para a sede da Dise, onde o delegado a autou em flagrante pelo crime de tráfico.
