A ocorrência foi atendida pela Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM), por volta das 09h, no bairro Vila Rica.

Os agentes municipais Adenilson e Cicero foram informados que um cachorro da raça Rottweiler estava sendo maltratado na Rua Dionísio Silva.

A equipe foi até o local juntamente com uma veterinária e visualizaram o animal acorrentado, dentro de uma cocheira, com fezes de cavalo, sem água e comida.

Os vizinhos do local informaram quem eram os donos do cachorro e os guardas foram até a residência. No local não havia ninguém, então os mesmos voltaram a cocheira e soltaram o animal.

A cocheira onde o rottweiler estava era toda cercada, então não havia perigo em deixá-lo solto.

O caso foi registrado no 2º Distrito Policial como abuso de animais e será investigado.
