De acordo com o boletim de ocorrência, o pai da vítima informou que a menina estava brincando tanque de lavar roupas quando o mesmo caiu sobre ela.

Foi informado que a causa da morte foi choque hipovolêmico por conta de sangramento do fígado. O corpo foi encaminhado ao IML (Instituto Médico Legal).

A criança foi então levada ao pronto socorro do bairro e encaminhada ao Hospital Municipal Dr. Waldemar Tebaldi, mas não resistiu aos ferimentos e veio a falecer.

A família mora em Xambrê, região de Umuarama no Paraná e estavam na casa de parentes na cidade.
