O acidente aconteceu no Jardim Marajoara e um terceiro envolvido no crime, fugiu.

De acordo com informações da corporação, por volta das 22h, criminosos furtaram um Chevrolet Corsa no Jardim Éden. Cerca de uma hora depois, uma equipe em patrulhamento localizou o veículo na altura do Jardim Eneides e deu ordem de parada.

O motorista ignorou e fugiu em alta velocidade por diversas ruas da cidade. No entanto, ao chegar no Jardim Marajoara, o condutor perdeu o controle da direção e bateu em uma árvore.

Os guardas conseguiram deter dois ocupantes, que eram adolescentes moradores do Jardim São Manoel. Já o terceiro suspeito, conseguiu fugir a pé por uma área de mata.

O caso foi apresentado no Distrito Policial e os menores liberados após o registro da ocorrência. O carro foi devolvido ao proprietário.
