O acidente aconteceu por volta das 10h30 desta quarta-feira (19), na altura do km 129, sentido Nova Odessa (SP).

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, a vítima era um almoxarife de Rio Claro (SP) e seguia em uma Yamaha XTZ 150 quando bateu em uma defensa metálica.

Com o impacto, o motociclista foi arremessado no canteiro central e sofreu múltiplas fraturas. Ele foi socorrido pelo resgate da Autoban ao Hospital Municipal de Americana, mas não resistiu a gravidade dos ferimentos e morreu na unidade médica.

Não há informações sobre o que causou o acidente. A Polícia Civil vai investigar o caso.
